Looks like plain theft to me though.

I just don't want anyone else getting screwed and like I said if there's a problem posting the full addy (which I'm told is fraudulent) then I'm sure the mods can take it out.

Appreciate the warning thoughts. I'm not so sure about the fradulent address if it makes the white pages???? Just a different first name. Could be a kid (even if over 18) living with mom and dad?? or could be parents credit card or not, got me. Something sure smells.

Think we're on solid rule grounds if the information is available in public records.

send him an email telling him credit card fraud is a crime and that you are forwarding his account for collections and that a 25$ fee will be added to each refund/chargeback.

it does not always work, but it has gotten me money back, I do it everytime someone charges back.

its been happening for years. Then again it may only be that he did not know he was going to be rebilled and there was no prominent cancel link. It could be any number of reasons.
But with a third party billing you cant do much about it. if he had a merchant account he could have went back in and reversed the refund. Thats what I do and I leave a note for the call center to have cust email me and not to issue a refund. I am at a low enough chargeback ratio that I dont mind eating some chargebacks, its worth the will he or wont he chargeback risk to me.
I dont recommend everyone do this, make sure you can eat the chargeback if he does do it. But when the cust emails me I ask the problem and in the future he needs to bring it to my attention and not think he can go over my head. On my site, there is no over my head (except a chargeback).

ALSO Missouri and Montana are right next to each other in the drop down box, isn't entirely possible he clicked the wrong one?

As it it turns out the information was prolly public. White pages with the same last name and a real address (as far as I can tell). A bit harsh to say I'll never do biz with ya?????

Beside it *possibly* being against GFY board rules, why is it wrong? If he sues the asshole, that is 100% public record. If someone is insolvent, that becomes public record.
