Hey bud, let me give you some advice.
Stay away from freehosts. If you are planning on making any $$ in this business, then you cannot do so using a free host.
Regardless of what they say-most, if not all free hosts WILL redirect 404 traffic, WILL redirect normal traffic, and will do other things that will cause you to get banned (I'm assuming you will be using it for galleries/freesites)

Save yourself the headache.
Pick up a cheap virtual plan for $10 a month or so, and go from there.

SplitInfinity (Which I have never tried, but hear they are good) is offering a $6 a month virtual package.

Just look around, there are a lot of good hosts that have small plans.

P.S. The fact that it is a bannerless host means they definitely WILL redirect your traffic or do something else sneaky.

If you are talking about a sponsor giving away free hosting, the generalization usually is invalid. However, you can only promote their programs, and a couple of 'em probobly do something tricky as well.

You can't beat 6 bucks

Look around though, there are probobly smaller packages, better deals on bw, etc.
