    Yahoo, msn and 2257

groups.yahoo.com is filled with groups containing adult material, how come they are not required to live up to 2257 ?

Why don't GFYers post 2257 info for every hardcore image they post?

"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."

if the axe comes down I look for those groups to go away overnight with a flip of the switch... kinda like what would happen if we were stuck in a .xxx domain

glad to see msn and yahoo go though, they suck gigas and gigas of content out of our sites and post em for free with no qualms at all.

you really think anyone at yahoo, msn, or any other messageboard type place even knows what 2257 is, or gives a fuck? like someone said, even if the feds did come after them, they can just flip a switch and it all goes away.

ashcrack isnt after yahoo or msn, he's after us. period.

Realistically, sites like that and adult personal sites were in violation of the old laws.

                      Hook 'em.

Yahoo and similar sites would fall under the guise of ISPs and would be exempt from holding records. This is not true of the group moderators or people who post the content though who may be considered secondary producers. This is all a very grey area.

Voyeurweb.com and similar sites have a trickier situation since they no doubt exercise editorial control over their content.
