    I need an explanation of what people mean regarding submitting galleries please

    I read often of people submitting galleries but im not sure of what this means, is this paid sites doing this, or is it the smaller guys like bloggers doing this? when they talk of submitting galleries, whos galleries? are they galleries of the sponsor or is the affiliate buying cheap content for this or am i completely misunderstanding.

    Any explanation i would very much appreciate please.

      Short version:
      TGP owners often allow other webmasters to submit galleries to their TGP's.
      Webmasters make these galleries with content they get from the sponsors, or content they buy themselves. (If they buy own content, it's often to use something not every other webmaster is using..) The galleies they build are promoting the sponsors they are using.
      This way the TGP gets more content for the surfers, and the webmasters submitting galleries to promote sponsors, are getting more hits, and hopefully more sales...
      Long version:
      Someone actually owning a TGP or are/have been submitting galleries can explain it a lot better, I am sure ;)

          Most TGPs won't accept free hosted gallery submissions from webmasters, they use them to promote the sponsor's for themselves. You need to build your own galleries for submitting.

          Nowadays it's becoming less and less profitable to submit galleries, especially if you don't have a partner account and since I'm guessing you're new to this, I'd suggest building and submitting freesites to linklists like RichardsRealm instead or starting a blog and using freehosted galleries.

                          look in my signature and you will see a couple of affiliates. these people will pay you if you join up and drive traffic to their site. so sign up, create webpages with their content (within the guidlines of the TPG) and submit away. - it's really not that easy...but that's the concept.

                              I never really understood this either. If I create a gallery to promote a sponsor, why would another TGP run it with all my affiliate IDs? Seems like they'd make more money by using their own IDs.

                                      They need lot of high quality galleries to get surfers back to their TGP and it would be too much work to make all galleries by themselves with their affiliate ID. It's easier to list nice galleries and put some ads at index page.
