I've frequented several other boards for the last two years and have watched all of them suffer serious declines.

Two years ago the newbie board I started out on would have 30-50 posts an hour on average, even overnight. Last time I visited that place it had gotten as bad as 1 post in 5 hours, and the TGP board is more like 1 post every 5 days.

I think alot of the resources will be consolidating or closing down over the next year or two. The business is no longer newbie friendly, thus no supply of fresh faces to keep many of those places active.
