I am not sure about that analysis. For me the fan sign is all about new traffic. I get the sign with the model holding my url and I blast it out to every yahoo group, P2P network, etc.. The idea is that some guy is searching for the 'model' finds the pic and when he sees my url he comes and checks it outOriginally posted by CDSmith
I offer a good enough product that if I get him there he stays and comes back. If he joins the 'models' site great (although unlikely) but once he is on the site I have the chance to sell him alot of stuff.

I've photoshopped my URL on other people's fansign pics after missing the deadline to get mine in. That seems easier, I think I'll just do that every time.
