Can you even have a remote destop conection between 2K and XP?
I use TeamViewer to trans files on a LAN. Works well. -
I think TeamViewer is just another type of RDP, what I am looking for is a way within RDP to simply copy and paste between machines without using any other 3rd party software... Thank you for post though.Originally posted by damian2001Can you even have a remote destop conection between 2K and XP?

I was having trouble finding a solution to the same problem. I know you can cut and past text but transfering files is another question.Originally posted by crowkidI think TeamViewer is just another type of RDP, what I am looking for is a way within RDP to simply copy and paste between machines without using any other 3rd party software... Yea, I actually used windows help for the first time on this one, it specifically states that you can ONLY copy and paste text from server to client. There must be some fix for this, surely, as many users would need to transfer files.Comment

Probably have to setup FTP on the remote machine to do the graphics and other things. Don't ask me how to do that with windows...Originally posted by crowkidYea, I actually used windows help for the first time on this one, it specifically states that you can ONLY copy and paste text from server to client.
