Topbucks Bought Me Some New Pants!
OK, this past Internext Porn Show in Florida was probably one of the most interesting shows ever. One of my best buds in this business is Ali from Topbucks ? we?re both originally from Connecticut?there?s something about being from that small freezing state that bonds people together -- no matter how different they may be. After being at the show for a few days, she noticed that I had been wearing the same pair jeans (Seven) every day.
She asked me about it and I explained that I had 2 more totally clean pairs up in the room, just I didn?t like going through the hassle of taking everything out of the pockets of my pants and transferring them to new jeans every morning -- it would be so much easier just to put on the ones from the day before. See?
When you are at these conventions ?things? accumulate in your pockets that you will come in need at some juncture: Advil, bindles of cocaine, Xanax, condoms, business cards, pot crumbs, money, cell phones, wallets, ect?all of witch you could need at any given time ? just you may lose out on just because you changed you pants!
Needless, to say I don?t think she believed me. She thought they were the only jeans I owned or something ? yes, she really had it in her head that I had one pair of jeans. So then she starts asking about my size. I tell her 34/34. She doesn?t believe that and there is some debate as to how ?fat? I really am. I drink a lot, but I?m far from being a Sleazydream or Virtumike (I joke, I joke, I kid, I kid)
After the show she sent me a link to some Lucky Brand jeans in my email and asks me to pick a pair?I thought to myself, ?Hahaha, very funny.? So, I jokingly picked one and wrote her back.
Last night, my doorbell rings and it is the UPS guy and guess what:
Ali really bought me new jeans?how funny is that? Thanks so much Ali ? you rule!
And just in case you ever doubted me?they fit:
Once again, thanks so much?maybe at the next show I will wear this pair every day! Oh yeah, I could use some new Hurley shirts as well?this red one is getting really worn out!
