I need help locating a video card.

    I currently have an evga 8800GT with 512mb DDR3.

I went to install the card today and it runs up against the hard drive tray. It's about 3/4 of an inch too long.

I'd like to keep the same specs or better but I need to have the card under 8 inches in length. The card also needs to be able to handle pushing a 47" LCD at full 1080p.

Know any cards that fit that?

I have the same card with 50% more memory on it. I don't know of a card as good that is physically smaller. I had to buy a huge case with a removable HD tray. The case has 2 more slots in a weird position that are not removable. I have to use those and my PC can only use 2 internal HDs instead of 6 but it works.

Im running the 8800 GTS right now, and it was actually a bit smaller than the ATI HD2600 XT... Good luck on the hunt, sucks when you've got a tight squeeze to work with.

I would have to lose 3 hard drives to fit this card in. Not gonna happen. This particular case can not accommodate a removable HD tray either.

This is the most difficult build I have ever done. I've cut multiple fingers and knuckles. It's a VERY tight fitting computer.....But the specs give me wood.
