Price of Ink is a disgrace.

I just paid $20 for an ink cartridge, my printer takes 4 cartridges. That's $80 worth of ink just to print some pages... fuckin scandelous..

I thought this was going to be a thread about tattoos. Have tattoos also gotten crazy expensive lately?

I agree... technology is just another way to drain our paycheques! Sure, they could make ink cartridges at a lower price, but then they wouldn't make as much money off of us. And they could make things last, but then again... they wouldn't make as much money off of us.

Have you ever wondered why printers are so cheap? It's not the printer they're making money on, it's the proprietary ink cartridges.
I post on GFY so that when people ask me what I do,
I can tell them that I work with the mentally retarded.

Yep, it's literally, factually cheaper for me to buy a new printer(includes ink) than the 2 ink carts. my all in one cheapass printer takes.

              mine holds 6 tanks

what pisses me off is it wont print if one runs out

so if i run out of yellow i still can't print plain black text!

Actually not a bad racket.. when I run out of ink, I should put the printer on ebay for $10 plus $20 shipping.. haha.

Get them refilled at those little kiosks in shopping malls, saves me a bundle because I do a lot of printing.

I use an Epsom and apperently these cartridges can't be refilled (like fuck they can't).
Also my printer stops working when one cartrige runs out, what pisses me off is it takes me an hour to find the cartridges I need and I can't buy a 4 pack only individual... grrr
