When a smart person decides to do something they get it done by any means necessary. I started with a whopping $0 and my html skills and was profitable from the first day. I missed all of the trial and error of submitting galleries, installing scripts, and all the other fun stuff so many of you have tried.

Think outside of the little world GFY has laid out for you and you might see something interesting.

I thought about applying for an affiliate manager position last month and I make way more now than I could doing that. Experience would be the main motivation. The fact that online you can run your business and still work is always a plus.

Posting stats doesnt really mean anything, I could spend $10k on traffic and show $5k daily stats anytime.

I can tell you of a few people who are in "high" positions in corps and "should" know this shit - but clearly know nothing.

It amazes me how the hell they can even work on a daily basis knowing nothing.

One held a grand title of "IT Director" in one corp. He kept calling round to get me help out with some tailoring of website pages. Then.... hell... it dawned that he did not even know what an editor was... speechless, but tried not to smile :-)

I told him some stuff - gave him an editor and he went off the do this shit. Two weeks later I get a call - "The editor does not work at the moment cos it needs a serial number" ... Yea? :-) OK.. Here's a serial number!

Needless to say, he was back within the month - not one step further forward and I gave in and did what he wanted to achieve.

Nice guy... but sheesh!

problem is, if you make money now, it could be tough not having more say in running the show. affiliate manager seems like monkey work, not enough using your head to build a strategic plan for the company.
