Now this is the same branch that I once saw a boneprone lookalike in... but that was *definately* no more than a lookalike.
Earlier today I went to the bank to cash some checks, pay some bills and arrange some telegraphic transfers. Normally I'm in there for a while, so I hate it. Luckily it wasn't busy at all, and they had their air conditioning on.
I had like 20 checks to deposit and the cashier look pretty pissed off when I presented them. I go in there almost every few days for one thing or another, so most of the staff know that I bring in the dollars checks in regularly. Each check requires that the cashier fill out a payment slip, and it usually takes them 2 to 3 minutes for each... so they are looking at a good 45 minutes or so of form filling.
There is no way I am going to stand for near enough an hour whilst the chick fills out the check slips. So I ended up sitting in one of the chairs beside the inquiry desk.
Usually there are always a few employees hanging around and chatting by the inquiry desk in case a customer comes in and requires some investment information or similar. The desk is a decent distance from the seats, so I didn't pay much attention to those guys, just sat down and grabbed a newspaper. After about 15 minutes I had flicked through all the good parts and was feeling pretty bored, when one of the staff members approached me and asked me if I had an appointment. I told her that I didn't and that I was waiting for one of the cashiers to fill out some forms for me. A polite smile from her and turned around and walked back to the inquiry desk. She was pretty nice, I was bored... so I was eyeing her ass all the way back to the desk.
Then it got my attention. Not the chick, but the guy stood behind the desk. I was just looking at the guy. The guy was DEAD RINGER for Peter North! He was about 5'10 to 6'0, medium build. Anyone that saw me must've thought I was half a fag or something. I was thinking "no way... it couldn't be". I couldn't hear what the staff were talking about but I am SURE I heard the name Peter mentioned. Now I'm not the type of guy to walk up to him and ask right out. But I mean... what the fuck?! Could that be him working in an ENGLISH bank? He looked more like an exact clone than a lookalike. I would've thought that he had made a good few million from porn, so it is unlikely that he'll be working it out on the 9 to 5. Then again it isn't all that uncommon to hear of people who retire with a few million, going to back working the eight hour day shovelling pig shit or something. I can't bring myself to believe it was Peter North working in an English bank, MY local bank, but fuck... small world nonetheless.
Last I heard Peter North had retired from porn. Does anyone know what he is doing? I know enough about my pornstars to know that he did gay porn once with the name Matt Ramsey. Is Peter his real name, or is it Matt?
I'm not kidding, it was strange to say the least. Anyone in Lancashire that happens to live near or go to this branch, you really have to check this shit out. If you're in the area sometime then call into Halifax branch on Knowsley Street. You'll know which town it is if you're in the area.
