Just got it for xbox 360 last night. No lock up problems at all so far. I love it. Got it on the release day for PS3. Multiplayer has had its problems but it's better now and it's so much fun. The single player mode is awesome great graphics, nice cars,bikes boats etc... My only complaint is that I'm spending too much freaking time playing it instead of working

Most impressive game I've seen so far. But with GTA games you love them for awhile then don't play them for ages, whereas I've been playing Counter-Strike 1.6 for about 3 years and still play regularly, same with Quake 3. Nothing beats competitive online gaming.Comment

Yes you can skip the video story by pressing X. the game tells you what is your mission anyway. It's just there to put you in context...

The PS3 got hit the hardest but some Xbox 360 systems are experiencing random lock-ups. Sadly I'm one of those people. This has hit the gaming boards and Rock Star has acknowledged it's a legit problem that they are working on.
There seems to be a lot of people who don't have the problem so it seems like a crap shoot if it will choke on your system or not.

I bought the game for my PS3, took awhile to load game info onto the hard drive, after that it was well worth the wait. Have yet to play online, probably will give that a try tonight. Definitely worth getting.
