I think it would make for more effective results if instead of all the various things some try to motivate people to vote there was a coordinated effort to attatch stigma and shame in not voting.

What I meant by that is these laws do not target cp criminals; pedos don't have established business venues (at least in this country) where they can be inspected for record keeping compliance. Only mainstream producers would have such records or could be tracked down with any ease. Only mainstream producers would have a website with high visibility; I'm guessing the cp crowd is setting things up on geocities, file sharing networks and the like. To be honest, I really don't know; but I I've never come across anything on a root .com extension that looks like genuine cp.

See above. This law has nothing to do with protecting minors, that is merely a BS 'mission statement' that doesn't put on paper their already STATED intention of getting rid of porn. Giving the government the ability to send producers to prison for 5 years over clerical errors such as mispelling a name does nothing to protect children. Creating such a paperwork fiasco so as to drive legitimate producers out of business does nothing to protect children. Wake the fuck up, when idiots start spouting nonsense about "they're doing it to save the children", whatever "it" is, chances are they are seldom doing it for the reasons they are stating.
