By the way having crushed up pills before, I must warn you often they are the most foul tasting things one could imagine. -

The shell around the pill is there for a reason. If you destroy it you are removing any time-release that the pill may have.
Therefore, the recommended dosages, warnings on the bottle, etc are all invalid.
This is very dangerous, and I have seen people killed doing this.
