    Geez the Atlantic is hot this season.

    Following on the heels of Frances is the newly formed Tropical Storm Ivan. (Named after my son, thankyouverymuch)

    It is currently south of the Capre Verde islands and is moving west.

    It is expected to gain strength, but as of yet it is too early to tell if it will reach hurricane status.

    Mother Nature isn't happy with the folks in the tropics.

                  I wonder how long before it comes up and makes it rain a bit up here. By the time these big hirricanes hit the atlantic provinces they're usually just a ansty thunderstorm. Last one was pwoerfule nough to rip siding off houses though so I should downplay it too much anymore though,
