My eye really fucking hurts and is swolen - whats wrong?

Yesterday i had to leave as soon as i got up to the fucking dentist.

i put in some 'clear eye' drops, and i may have put in too much (4-5 drops) in one eye. i put on my contacts, and rush out. about 3 mins later.. my eye starts to burn.. i figure theres some solution stuck between the contact and my eye thats causing the pain. so i move the contact away from my eyeball, to the white part but the pain remains. 20 mins later i take out the contact, and using a trick my aunt taught me, put it in my mouth to clean and put it back in. ihad brushed and cleansed my mouth a lot before i left, my mouth was clean, and i had done this before too with no problems. my eyes ok for a few minutes, then starts to hurt like fuck again. i get my cavity done, reach home 2 hours later, with the pain still hanging around.. 30 mins before i reached home i said fuck it, took out my contact and put it in my mouth to keep moist till i got home, then put it back in its soliution (i havent put it on since)

this is happening in one eye only.

i reach home, look in the mirror and my eye is fucking red as hell, and my upper eyelid is swolen. it feels like theres glass in there , it hurts so damn much. if i wash my eyes with water, pain goes away for a couple minutes and returns. if i keep my eye open for a long time before blinking, and blink, the glass feeling returns.

my eye wont stop leaking, tears and tears come out..

i slept for like 15 hours last night hoping it would get better.. the red has goen away a lot but the pain remains. everything i close my eye there stinging pain, but if i move my eye around i can feel theres nothing there.

anyway what do i do? i fucking HATE the god damned health care system here.. sure its free but you wait 5 hours in a fucking room be told to "get bedrest", and ive got 2 days before i head out to university again and every hour is important.

anyone know what could be wrong? its not crusty or anything (pink eye) its just really swollen, and i get the stinging glass sensation every little while, followed by tears

So what if you have to wait 5 hours, see a doc. It's your sight you're fooling with.

It's an alergic reaction to the semen that was shot into your eye. It sometimes takes up to 12 hours for it to become irritated. Usually it is caused by your partner ingesting too much hot sauce in the past 24 hours. Should go away in 2 or 3 days.

Do you have an eyelash that might be curled up under your eye lid?

I had one for a few days this week and thought it was a stye or pink eye or something.

Turns out it was just an eyelash. I got it out and 2 days later it's still sore.

            Spend you some brain.

Seems like an allergic reaction to something. Did you recently switch solutions? Do you enzyme your contacts (probably not, but some still need it)?

Either way, I would definitely see a doctor. As mentioned your sight is something not to be messed with or put on the back burner. It needs immediate attention (especially since you flushed your eye and it's still hurting).

P.S. good tip on putting the contact in your mouth. My mom taught me that a long time ago when I first started wearing contacts and it's saved my ass more than a few times.

I'd go have that checked out. I wouldn't fuck around with my sight like that and just let it keep gett infected or what not.

My friend had that exact same thing happen. It was cancer of the eye and he died two weeks later. It was so fucked up.

it was irritated. this what you should do:

                      1. remove the contact lens and do not use it for 2-3 days
                      2. soak the contact lens into a solution of water and enzymatic tablet (this can be bought in potical shops) overnight. this will remove the accumulated dirt that is in the lens.
                      3. rinse the lens well with cleaner solution. rinse it with the regular solution afterwards.
                      4. remember to always clean the lens before using it

follows these steps and it will help you. dirty lenses irritates the eyes.

1)It's a corneal abrasion. They hurt like hell for the first 24 hours, and at a minimum, take that long to heal.
                                2) Stop messing with your eye....keep your contacts out for at least 24 hours.
                                3) Stop putting your contacts in your mouth and then in your eye. Doesn't matter how "clean" your mouth is, it's still full of bacteria and doing this can cause a conjunctivitis.
                                4) See Dr. ASAP if it's not better within 24 hours, a change in vision occurs or there is pus like matter coming from your eye.
                                No sig for you!

Could it be a stye you've gotten in your eye?

                                              "Symptoms include:

-pain in the eye or eyelid, especially when blinking or to the touch

                                              -redness of the eyelid itself

-blurred vision of the affected eye

                                              -swelling of the eyelid"
