Air tickets to Sao Paulo, Brazil

Anyone got a rough idea of how much would expect to pay for air tix from Toronto, Canada to Sao Paulo, Brazil.

I did a search on a site and it was CA$3000+ return... is that right? I could fly around the world for that.
    I dont need a sig.

I just checked aa.com with some random dates (YYZ-GRU) and it was about US$890 roundtrip connecting in miami or JFK

I never buy airfares online anymore.. I dont know what happened but you can never get the cheapest fare that way anymore.

My travel agent can ALWAYS get me a cheaper one.

We did some looking into prices lately also, and we found that in general the agents are the best way to go. Especially if you have one that you use over and over.

If you're going somewhere you haven't been before in another country, and you're not a seasoned traveler, I'd definitely go with a travel agent.
