I've been on the Paxle and that worked ..but i find that with the Xanax works and i no longer take the Paxle....

yeah but those take 2 weeks or so till you get the effects. I think for the weekend at least mad booze and popping xanax in his drinks will help

it's not smart to turn to drugs to dull emotional pain -it takes LONGER to deal with it when you don't actually deal with it.

personally i think drugs SLOW the process of realizing that. I believe drugs (legal or illegial) will help to keep him in the denial phase longer.

I agree, but seeing how people self-medicate anyways it's better off to feed them stuff that won't end up stringing them out into a long term addiction like benzodiazepenes (xanax, valium, etc) or opiates.

Tequilla also has the additional benefit of being difficult to abuse, because if you abuse tequilla, tequilla will abuse you.

Obviously if this guy can deal with it without having to turn to any sort of chemical crutch that's optimum... but the fact that it's been brought up here and solicited shows that a clean and sober cry isn't the path this guy's gonna take.

um I hate to break it to you, but most anti-depressants take at least 3 weeks to start working with 3-6 months for their full effect...

most people start on prozac or paxil, which is your basic SSRI (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitior) which basically means they prevent your body from metabolizing and getting rid of your serotonin, so there is more left in your brain.

i wouldnt suggest taking it on your own... they have different effects for different people and the side effects can often outweigh the positive aspects.

I suggest having a few drinks, bitch about the girl and then doing something fun that he likes to get his mind off of it.

valium might numb the pain for a little while, but always remember there is a come down

not to mention that it is a downer, not an upper and might make him more depressed.

but then again thats just my cheap two cents ;)
