When the Jews immigrated here in mass numbers as a means of survival, each generation worked to make sure the next generation was better off. They strived to assymilate and make a place for themselves and their families in their new country.

Me being one, I can tell you that we place a lot of value in education etc. No matter what anyone says about college, knowledge is wealth.
Famous jews in my family include my grandmothers brother who was a famous psychiartrist. Her other brother is a VP a Faygo, and I beleive her father worked developing the TB test.
It's all about work ethic and they work/worked damn hard.
