Allie and I were out of town when the contest was announced and we arrived home buried chest deep in all the shit that piles up when you leave town for a week. Allie still managed to meet the submission deadline for this week?s competition. Had she known the ?deadline? really wasn?t a ?deadline? I?m sure she would have put more time into the ?production? of her entry.
Nothing against Elli here, both Allie and I think she?s the greatest! However if there was an entry deadline and it wasn?t met then it?s not really fair to the rest of the contestants to allow that entry into the competition.
I?m not trying to stir up any drama here but it just doesn?t seem to be in keeping with the spirit of a competition.
