    anyone else get slammed by google last week?

    Just noticed a huge drop in google traffic to two of our sites, unrelated to each other. Exactly the same day. August 25. I've had this happen before, but never to 2 completely different sites, on exactly the same day. We lost 50% of our google traffic from the 24th to the 25th, and it has stayed there...

    Anybody else have the same experience, or know why this might have happened?

                      Yeah, a bunch of people are seeing that same sort of thing. It's looking like Google tweaked some aspect of their algorythm.

                          Seems like Google started deleting some pages that were spammed-- Look at this site which had top SERP listings:

                              I'll tell ya this, my google adwords dropped off the face of the earth... I put in a budget of 4k a day and it gave me like 10 clicks at most.

                                      Wasn't talking about PR, but actual ranking, as in 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. for specific keywords.
