You could probably do it in a few weeks if you bought enough traffic initially and established some productive trades right away.. but it would be a tough thing to do in such a short timespan.Comment

Actually you can get a 10k/day tgp if you buy 10k in feeder traffic, its not that hard.
But dont setup a 10k TGP, it isnt worth it.
Buy 50k of feeder traffic and get it all sent within 20 hours or so and you will probably have a big TGP if you played your cards right.
But you need to know what you are doing if you are going to try to make a TGP with 300% prod or what choker said in that other thread.Comment

well I'm not the best at growing sites, I honestly suck at it.. but I also rarely ever buy traffic..
But IMO you would need to have some half way decent connections with some TGP's that can send traffic to do it in a day. But if you set up a site with good trades, buy about 30k in traffic sent to you at 5k a day. You should have a site bigger than 10k within a week assuming your site is productive. However that assumes to know how to trade and you keep your galleries updated.
Also Choker's system has to have generic descriptions such as "Teen gallery" and so on.. so I think it would be a little bit harder to build one up like that. His system would probably be best be used in conjunction with your own Thumb preview galleries at the top of the page. You could use Remote Thumbs for the top galleries and set Chokers galleries up in category lists at the bottom.In November, you can vote for America's next president or its first dictator.Comment

I paid $5000 for one in 2001 with a submitter program and database. I submitted a few and saw those 1:200 ratios so I dropped it. At the time I was doing 1:10 to 1:15 with my other traffic.

Would be kinda expensive and would take longer to build than 1 day. A stable (not feeded) TGP of 10K/day, niche would take me around 1 month. And I would charge around 2000$ I guess... But the reason no-one is building TGPs and selling them is because the pool is getting smaller and smaller. It's kinda hard to build a tgp these days and let it run stable for a few years without feed. (I know only about niche TGPs, and text only, I'm a quality man not quantity ;-))

I started a little fake TGP last week and have been feeding it with about 1k 404 traffic daily. I really have no idea what the hell I'm doing but it is kind of fun seeing progress. The first couple days it was only sending out like 10 total clicks to trades, now it's up to about 100. buy some traffic here -- among other places. They always sent me good traffic, and its good if you are going to buy that much traffic - but it from different places to get a wider range of visitors.
