Dont you hate it when you tell people what you do for a living and they instantly want you to drop everything and teach them all you know about the business. I'm a college kid and whenever I meet new people and tell them how I make money in the Internet Marketing business and I work from home the typical response is "cool dude. hey man, lets hookup tommorrow and you can teach me how to make money. We can start a business together and make a shitload of money". They assume since I work from home that I'm not really doing much work and can goof around all day. Anyone else go through this alot?

It used to be like that for me too.. I actually tried showing a few of them how it works.. but after they saw how much time and work it actually is they backed out.. now most of the people I talk to know better than asking it..
The only person I helped make money online that pulled through is my brother.. he does a lot of writing for me and a few of my clients..Comment

1) "Oh wow!! How did you get into that?"
2) "I'd love to work from home, can you show me how to do that?"
3) "Ya know, i wouldnt mind doing Ebay for living!" (this response always leaves me speechless lmao)
4) "You get paid to do that?"
5) "You're going to hell"
6) "Want a business partner? Ya, i could do [fill in blank here] & team up with you!"
7) "How does one start doing that? I'd love to do that!"
when people want me to "show them" how to start, i usually start throwing out a bunch of mumbo jumbo that i know they wont understand & try to scare them away lol
(example: "you gotta teach yourself html, php, some htacess codes that you'll have to upload to your FTP, and i'd focus on just SE listings more than TGP listings & linklists too. The ratio conversions are usually drastically better with SE's.")

I got that response today when I told a someone (some random kid who i played a 1 on 1 basketball game with) that i do internet advertising. now he wants me me to call him tommorrow at 1 pm so I can go over to his house and "teach him how to make thousands of dollars a week before the summer is over". he was trying to talk all hard like "im a master at java, i can probably make a program to generate thousands of pages in seconds. we should start a company and become rich". dumb fucking pothead!!

Yes they ask me, i tell them i wont help them. Even if they are my best buddies and i know them for 10 years straight. Keep friends and business apart. Simple, I wouldn't make a solo site with my girlfriend even if she wants it so badly.Comment
