200 HOSTAGES HELD AT SCHOOL (Russia)

Armed men have seized hostages in a school in southern Russia, it is reported.

Russia's Interfax news agency said there had been a gun battle at the school.

There are also reports that a second school had been attacked.

The area borders Chechnya, where separatist Muslims are involved in an armed insurgency against Russia
