    Home From FL - Plane Trouble

    Had to make an emergency landing in St. Petersburg, FL we had issues with our right wing.. As you can see from the photos below I will describe the trouble.

    Flying above florida circling slowly to reduce speed and altitude with an attempt to head to Tampa, FL. You can see the thunderstorm we are about to go into just above the right wing that was fucking up.


    The thunderstorm we went through while attempting to make an emergency landing in Tampa,FL (got too rough and had to goto st. petersburg)


    One Firetruck of three that were waiting for us on the runway.


    Yet another fire truck.


    And another with his hose aimed right at the troubled wing.


    Fireman waiting to see if anything happens..


    Gee bob, I don't know what it is, but we don't have a garage here so lets get this bitch back in the air.


    Anyways, I was stressed the fuck out, my cell was dead and I was wanting to call my wife just in case... I think the girl next to me wanted to start crying.. almost felt bad enough to tell her I'd hold her hand...

    I'm sunburned as hell (feet and legs are KILLING ME) and I'm really tired.. I'll make my shout outs and get back to all of you peeps that I lined up some deals with... I'm gonna take one day of recovery time then get back at it!

                                              We had problems due to storms going in AND out of FLL. Added about 1.5 hours to a 1.25 flight each time

I left out of Ft.Lauderdale at 6pm (or so) on Sunday and while being taxied to the runway, the pilot said there would be a "considerable" delay as a thunderstorm approached - 9 or 10 planes waiting in front of us.

                                                                                              With a connecting flight in Charlotte, 1 hr layover, I was a tad concerned.

                                                                                              Anyway, we then got re-routed to the other side of the airport and took off with about a 10-15 minute delay, arriving on time.

                                                                                              Anyhow, glad to hear it worked out - that shit is just scary when you're flying
                                                                                              and have NO control!

                                                                                                  I turn around and see Media taking pics out the window, didn't even notice him being on our plane until then. Nice talking to you again, not sure how we missed eachother at the show.

                                                                                                  Luckily everything turned out okay. Fun stuff.
