Damn, RRRED, nice to see that there are a lot of guys and gals in the industry who don't put up with this kinda shit (or bumping 2001 threads)...
I was just at a tournament at Pechanga and it got down to 3 tables and they sit my GF next to me. We don't pay any attention to each other because we don't want the other players to wonder since we know we will be split up at the next table move.
The guy on the other side of her starts talking to her about this and that and then buys her a drink she didn't ask for. Some fu-fu drink and she only drinks Corona so I kinda chuckled... Then out of no where he starts rubbing her leg and she is like, ahh what the fuck are you doing? And he is like ohh, your pants are really soft. I like that. So I put my arm around her and he is like who do you think you are? I say, "I'm all in!" with a straight poker face... hat and sun glasses on... just looking at him with a dead face....
After about 5 seconds the table busts up laughing and he throws his cards at me. Security walks his ass out and the tables like, good job dude. Sticking up for that chick... About 5 minutes later she kisses me when she wins a large pot that I was in and everyones thinking wow... she is coming on to this dude? Maybe I should have said something to that guy... Then she goes out and I go to the final table and everyone is wispering about her seeming to be "waiting around for me." Telling me I have a good chance with her... so I go all in at 7th, collect my $560 bucks and inform them that I am going now while she is still hot for me...
