                                                                                                                                                          Had a great friend who was a cop and he used to always say that even if he gave his mom a ride home from the store in the back of his patrol car, she'd be cuffed. He'd say "No one gets into my patrol car without cuffs." I'd suspect they have their reasons for that attitude. They have no idea if that pansy assed idiot just hacked his granny's head off 30 minutes ago!

Stop making assumptions. The guy knew he was going to get arrested, that is why he did not have any ID on him , , , which is another law BTW.
