Years ago, me and a buddy of mine would hook that thing up to the back of his dad's truck. Conveniently, he lived in an apple orchard in Sonoma County, and we'd launch the apples hundreds of feet into the air over these walls of pine trees. Well, we'd hear the apples come crashing through the trees on the other side, and eventually wack the roof tops.
It was interesting hearing the voices saying "what the fuck?" as apples came raining down on them. Then we'd hear glass break.

Every time we played with them there was always 1 idiot in the group that would shoot something very hard straight up in the air. Real fun trying to dodge something that's so high you can't see.
We used to put firecrackers in tomatoes and shoot them in the air for the explosion. Good times, gonna have to order me one.

First thing. Be warned though, it says it shoots water balloons 200 yards but it will fling something heavy much farther than that. You can actually shoot it with your foot solo if you want but practice with something other than a rock.

Heh, I remember those things, we used them for ballon fights on boats in Lake Michigan. I remember about 15 years ago the three of us beaming some dude on the side of the head so hard he lost his balance and fell into the harbor.
The Harbor Master chewed us a new one and took it away from us.
Nevermind the fact the dude bought it from the Harbor Master and terrorized everyone else in the harbor with it.

We used to play with stuff like that all the time. We built a potatoe gun out of schedule 40 (thick walled pvc) and then my friend's dad got home and found us and got really mad. He started yelling about how we would never get any kinda power out of something made out of plastic, took us both in his truck to his storehouse and got us some galvanized steel piping and some flares and threader. Then he made us build a real cannon, when it was done it was a 4 foot barrel with spiral riffling, flares out to a 2 foot combustion chamber, welded in a bar-b-que ignitor and had a threaded back end with a one way valve to spray in wd40 through a straw. We had barrels for potatoes and gulf balls, but of course we were firing the thing into the woods and not in neighborhoods. I saw it last week in his parent's garage, his dad still plays with it from time to time, great guy!even ADULTS need TOYS
