    This is very sad and I guess they just found the baby but at least it is still alive! GRRRRRR! Makes me mad. I would have taken the baby! Jeez

    Boy is discovered in San Juan Capistrano and taken to a hospital.

    SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO ? A newborn boy, his umbilical cord still attached, was found alive today in a trash bin, the Orange County Sheriff?s Department reported.
    The child was found before 11 a.m. ? a bag over his head but still breathing ? in a trash bin along the 32100 block of Paseo Carolina. He was taken to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo.

    Investigators went to the area to try to determine who abandoned the baby, sheriff?s spokesman Jim Amormino said.

              Sadly that happens more and more these days. Particularly with unwed teen moms. Thank god here in Ky they have a law that if a mother feels she is unable to care for a newborn they can take it to a hospital or other designated place and they will not be penalized. I know, some wold say that this is a license to have babies and keep on doing it. Actually it was enacted after much the same thing happened here several times. It ensures that the babies will have a chance of survival.
