I want to add that the people up in the AB suite were quick to address the situation with the other girl...it was while they were being told that the guy got pushy with me, and as soon as I got away from him the three of them were sent out...so it's not like people were just sitting around letting it happen...I didn't mean to make it sound like that was the case. It if did, I apologize.
Also, I'm Latina, too, so I obviously didn't mean anything by mentioning they were Spanish...just wanted to clear that up too. I should reread my posts before I post them in the future, lol.
They say that one in four women will be raped. I'd feel safe saying that ALL of us will face a threatening situation at least once in our lives. I'm not alone, by any means, and some girls go through much worse. My best friend from high school was dragged into a half-built home while she was walking home from the bus stop and brutally gang-raped and beaten. I didn't think she was ever going to be the same..and you know, she really never has been the same, though she manages to get by.
Anyway, thanks for the kind comments....it was in the past, and it helped shaped the person I am today, and I'm, for the most part, pretty proud of who I am today. You just have to move on when bad things happen, or else the bad thing will never stop happening.
I just want these guys to be held accountable for their actions, and I knew there was a chance it wouldn't matter to some...but it was worth the risk.
