Those of you with individual policies like blue cross, let me ask you a question.
What is the term of your policy?
I've always been hesitant to buy one for several reasons. Say I get one, and it's good for a year, then in month 11 I get diagnosed with leukimia or HIV....now they won't renew me when the policy expires right? Or they'll raise my premium to 3K per month or something?
I know with a group policy you're locked into the group rate for as long as you're a member of the group...but with the individual policy what sort of protection do you have from the insurance company taking your money for years and then dropping you at the first sign of trouble?sig too bigComment
