I have no idea how many work is invloved in that job. If you know what aou are doing it's maybe a 30 minutes issue?
So about 50 bucks max?

Moveable type is not for free for commercial use in any way, they'll try to bust your ass for doing that.Better pay or get wordpress/whatever.

With just a straight install, no customization, $50 would work.

Have you already registered for the free version and downloaded the package?

Have you confirmed your host meets the system requirements?

It will be my private blog mainly.. But anyway, a license is not that expensive - 69.95$

Does that effect the installation process in any way?

Nah just wanted to tell you that.For commercial use it's not a smart move, rather use wordpress which is completly free.No clue what other popular blogging scripts are out there atm.I don't use any cause they are too bulky/insecure/slow.
