it also depends on the type of test. for example, he'd fail a hair folicle test long after he passes a piss test.

urine test - dont smoke for 3 weeks, drink a lot of water, exercise daily(sweat out the THC stored in your fat) and you will be fine
salvia test- dont smoke for 3 days and use mouth wash right before you go and you will be fine
hair test - most places do not use this method so dont worry about it.

I've had friends that have passed drug tests who have smoked the day before.
All you have to do is drink 2 gallons of water the day before, and a bunch of water the same day (to delute the piss with water).
If you smoked two weeks ago and you drink a lot of water, you'll be fine.Comment

You can buy drug test online. That is really the best way to be sure. They aren't that expensive either. The stuff they sell to drink I have never heard actually work. Most of the people I know who take them were good after 3-4 weeks but it could be longer depends on your body like other said.SIG TOO BIG! ok heres a foolproof method . Its not guaranteed they wont find something suspicious but no way in hell they can prove it. all they can do is make you redo the test..
Step #1 soak your hands in bleach before you go in for the piss test, then when your doing the pee test , just piss a bit on your fingers and the rediual bleach will null the test.. If its a cheap test they wont know, if its a good test they will know something is wrong but cant prove shit, just say you were cleaning your rugs or some shit if they ask.hatisblack at yahoo.comComment

3-4 weeks? Were the hell u guys getting your stats from? I smoked 8 days before a piss test for a job, before that, i was smoking once every other day... i went to the head shop, and bought what is called "The Stuff"...drank it, and pissed clean..
Then I had to do another piss test, about a month after. I had smoked Six days before(it was a random piss test, no time to prepare or anything), before that, i was smoking twice a week, I tested clean. SIX DAYS AFTER SMOKING!!!
Mary jane takes only 3-4 days to get out of your urine...but it also depends on how often you smoke. If your bro has been smoking three times a day for the past two weeks, he is fucked. If not, he should be A-OK

sigh, it's amazing how little people know about drug tests...
Here's what I learned when I was working for the BOP and had to deal with all the lab corespondense on drug tests...
First of all, if you buy any of the head shop shit or use bleach or anything, the test WILL show up as tampered with or diluted. They not only test for drugs but for concentration of certain chemicals that are in urine naturally. Depending on who's testing him, a diluted test IS A DIRTY TEST.
Second, the duration of marijuana detectability entirely depends on how much your bro smoked. A single use is detectable for 3 days at the most. Moderate use (4x a week): 4 days, Heavy use (daily) 10 days, Chronic Heavy Use: 21-27 days.
