dagwood, you're one up on me... i've never even held someone else's degree....
normally i'd throw some arrogant comment like 'i make more than 99% of the masters degree holders out there'... BUT... In my old age (28) I have had time to ponder life... and I'm definitely missing out on alot of the more intricate parts of life that the book-pounders have over me.. I look at a suspension bridge and think 'fuckin' A this things is huge, wonder how they did it' while a book-pounder knows exactly how it was built and all the math equations and shit that went into it, etc etc... They see things with alot more detail and they have the in-depth knowledge of alot of things... I envy the knowledge these book pounders posess, even if I don't envy their income

Well, you're PARTLY right...
I studied Mechanical Engineering for a while, and you DO see things differently; but only a civil engineer would see a bridge the way you describe. Unfortunately you could study your whole life and still you wouldn't know EVERYTHING.
I wound up with a B.A. in Spanish, minor in Political Science.
I take it out and look at it once in a while. That's what it's good for. That, and I get a few extra bucks and a little extra respect when I'm working somewhere.
Originally posted by Dagwolf I held a master's degree in mechanical engineering once.
It wasn't mine, though. He just let me hold it for a minute.
My Ex-husband SKULL-BUITRE ran off to Colombia with OUR money and screwed me after I helped him build OUR business.
He is hiding in Colombia and never paid the settlement $ from our divorce!

I started college at 16.. graduated with two degrees at 20.. and started grad school my senior year of undergrad...
my PhD thesis is on "Resistance to Persuasion" ... I study what makes, or doesn't make, drug campaigns effective...
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.
