When I got my emails, I went ahead and removed the the page, but then he kept on. I refferred him to my lawyer and have never heard from him again.

you should google his name and read about how he's being sued by Ford for taking 300k to shoot a commercial that never got done.

also...did you ever actually received a certified cease and desist or only emails? Did he give you the speech about how he'll "see you in court" and the "you'll lose" shit like he wrote in my second email above?

He first contacted me around the 15th of July.

My feeling was that he is just trying to bully what he hopes is know nothing teenagers. As stated Once he was told to have his lawyer contact mine in the future he was never heard from again.

I never bothered putting the page back up as I figured the lil bit I made from it was not worth thousands in possible future legal bills

No, I never got a legal C&D and yes he used the same childish taunts. He sent the same email, word for word (not counting the obvious needed changes) to everyone.

how many times do people have to say get a lawyer... it's probably bullshit anyways but for peace of mind talk to a lawyer... you should have one anyways for just such an occasion!

Well I had that happen to me once. It was a 3 hr deadline if memory serves right, per email

Additionally they sent someone over with the actual papers though
