    fucking laptop

    hi there, i have a toshiba laptop, p4 2.66 GHz with 256 mb of ram.. its a pain in the ass.. it sucks even for simple programs like explorer and notepad... opening winamp takes forever... i already scanned for viruses etc... run adware... still same shit.. any suggestions?

                                  Hrmm Windows XP can run like a dog with only 256 megs of ram.. or it can run really well. You might just have to tweak it a bit, turn off some useless services and the like.

                                  I'd do a search for a program called Cacheman Xp and use it.

                                              Your problems are software related, it doesn't have anything to do with the laptop... I'm guessing your running xp home?

                                                              If it is new, take it back to the dealer you bought it from... if it's been in use for awhile... clean it up... save what you need and reformat C...
