I don't know why anyone would give away partner accounts when TGP owners should use galleries that make them the money.

Unfortunately there's a group of people who like to submit 50,000,000 gallery pages from 100,000,000 different domains. Then they have scripts that redirect every x amount of hits, or switch the galleries to kiddy pron, install software via virus, and numerous other tricks of thievery, they have unlimited amounts of domains.

The content is easily spotted, and older than most of us here today, but the problem is that there is just so much of it, its ridiculous to deal with.

And guess what, They even have scripts that auto apply every xx hours for partner accounts, so even partner accounts are getting to the point where you better have a reference to get an account..

Proves my point. Sounds like even partner accounts are getting abused. I had a guy last night IM me to get a partner account for my gallery section. I said "no, why would I want to give you any money for the work I did building the traffic to my site." I do sell gallery spots, but only after I review the gallery and they send payment. I don't sell galleries to them unless they own the sponsor site.

Well, MegaPussy was somewhat built with recipricol links back in the old school days where people didnt care to fuck the person helping them out. Alot has changed and that of course is what closed down the MP TGP for years now, I put it back up, to build a better relationship with others, but yeah, same old fuckn punks who think they can slip their TGP link into the galleries and of course no intention of sending MP a hit. So I quickly went back to no recip now, and of course, doing my own galleries.

I wanted to build up more links with others, but noone want's to oblige, I can't believe the 5-7 fuckers that applied for a partner account, simply tried posting freehosting revshare galleries and or lame galleries with links to THEIR free and tgp sites. LOL, like we don't notice that.

Heaven forbid someone can make a gallery and hand submit to the top 3-4 tgp's who gladly use to share the traffic. Whats that take 2 minutes?

On top of that, If you left them static forever you'd have a web business (free site) in a few weeks time worth some serious cash, You rotate em daily? No clue why you'd do this, other than to fuck the person your submitting too, with no intention to create traffic. To you submitters, Hell you think we havent seen

Joe....you should know that this business is a numbers game. That little linkback button that I require for submissions brings back a fair amount of traffic. I quess you can call it a form of advertising. Sometimes it's good traffic, other times it isn't.

Right now I take submissions from partners and non-partners, and every gallery submitted has my recip button on the gallery. I give an opportunity to expose their galleries, and in exchange they give me advertising. My script checks these galleries once a week to make sure nothing was modified.

Trusted partners will often submit quality galleries. This helps bring surfers back to my site. I think it's a win win situation for everyone. And by the way, I do also use my own galleries which rotate among the submitted galleries.

Anyway, don't know about other webmasters, but that is the way that I look at it.

Yep, times have changed. I started college sucks in 98 and now there are just too many cheats. Atleast people have wised up and started tracking surfers, adding atleast some means of cheat prevention.

In a few days, we'll be starting our own pay site on college sucks. I wont allow affiliates to use galleries because they've gotten to the point where the worst of the worst in terms of blind traffic.

Every business in every industry is a numbers game. It's all about maximizing revenue and profit. I on the other hand am not stuck to just the "adult industry". I bring in other businesses and promotional resources from other industries to build apon what I have. Example: this fall we'll be giving away 10K tshirts to college students, all sponsored by another company that has nothing do to with adult. I've also started using SEO with keywords that have nothing to do with it as well. Example: college students looking for term papers.

When you promote your site, don't limit yourself to what you have around you. As Bruce Lee put it... "Having no limitation as your limitation."

PS. My point is that there are better sources of traffic than a recip. link on galleries. I've found so many better sources that I'm shutting down my gallery section on the 1st.

Well your right about diversification Joe. I am always looking for new ways to make money, but right now this is all I have. I have been in this business for a long time. Started out with the old BBS systems with 8 phone lines before internet became so popular. Remember the BBS days!! Used to be alot easier to make money back then!!

You are right, there are alot better sources of advertising, and I have tried quite a few. I also agree that any business is all about maximizing revenue and profit. Fortunately, this is not my main source of revenue as I do have a regular full time job. I do this because I like the challenge and it keeps my mind alert I look at the revenue I make from this business as a bonus. That being said, it still takes alot of patience and dedication!!
