The money is guaranteed by the real estate. Let's take a case example:

Someone comes along who wants to borrow money. He has as collateral a piece of beach front land worth $1,000,000.

After professional appraisers, lawyers, etc... evaluate the property and approve it as being extremely liquid, the man is allowed to borrow up to 40% of the value, in this case $400,000. The other 60% more than covers unexpected dips (if any) in the market.

Let's say this guy runs away. His land will be sold quickly (thus why only high-end liquid properties are accepted as collateral) to cover your capital investment. Thus, the "no-risk" part.

Anyone who was at the CR Bash this year and saw the presentation or spoke to Michael about it, knows it is not a scam.

Nice way to take it out of context. What you are missing is the fee applies for every wire sent out to you. If we have 500 investors, each getting a wire every month (their interest payment), that's $15,000 in fees per month to Sky Group.

Thanks for trying though.

I'd be more interested if this wasn't in Costa Rica. Nothing against CR personally, just something outside of Canada/USA's legal systems is something I'm not comfortable with.

That aspect was under the heading "TRADITIONAL FEATURES OF REAL ESTATE". Real Estate has been around longer than 2007.

Domain names are very much like real estate, but with these pluses:

* Increased demand for quality domain names; location, location, location!

* Valuations increasing 25%+ annually.

* Entry costs are still very reasonable relative to physical real estate.

* Quality domain names can be collaterized; leveraged to buy more names or get some cash out in a pinch.

* No taxation on owning domains; no property tax, no transfer tax, etc; easily bought and sold.

Why fiddle around with physical real estate when one can easily net much better yields with domain names.

Again, 25%+ annual yields are common in the domain name business ... a quality domain bought for $10K today, at 25% annualized yield, could potentially be worth $30K in just 5 years!

To match that same yield with physical real estate, taking into account taxes, upkeep, etc, could potentially require an annualized yeild upwards of 50% to match that of domain names.

Ok, I'm spamming LOL! But quite honestly, in the view of many knowledgeable investors, domain names is a much safer, more productive investment.

Ron

Thanks for trying though.
This is getting funny.. so by your math 500 x 50K is $2.5 million dollars. To cover the fees you would only need to make at least 7.2% per annum (0.6% per month) to cover the fees EVERY MONTH. So with 500 investors, your still making 2.8% - 4.8% by your claim per annum, which works out to $70,000 to $120,000 per year or $5,833.33 to $10,000 per month. I'd say thats a pretty comfortable living..

I'd rather "invest" my money in a real brokerage instead of these fly by night operations. If I want to donate, i'll call you... don't hold your breath though.

I have a few small investments in RE.(in the usa) I gotta be honest, if I was only getting 10-12%, id be more then very upset. Any good project is getting 25-45% There is always risk, but the only risk is time. I can wait 3 years for my 150% GL with the project though.

Thanks for trying though.
I'm not done yet

So 500 people @ a MINIMUM of $50k each = $25 million

Now out of that $25 million, $15000 is 0.06%.

Yes, 0.06 percent. So I'm assuming if you're paying out a 10% return you're at least making 3-5% yourself, and you can't pay a fee that would let you still make 2.94 - 4.94%?

Sounds like a scam to me! And that's assuming you make 3-5% AND assuming all 500 people pay in the MINIMUM to the fund.

Come on dude, who do you think you're kidding?
