I have 231 songs @ 13.5 hours on mine that AaronM gave me. I did have over 300 @ 18.7hours on it before I dumped some I didnt want to hear again.

you can load any song you want onto the shuffle i got one from nichepay.com in a contest and the mp3s i already had worked fine and my wife is loving it thanks again nichepay

No but i have an ipod mini and it is a piece of shit!

Aside from the fact that it likes to stop working for periods of time and freezes for no reason.

The software setup is a freakin nightmare. If you plug your ipod into another machine expecting to just transfer songs then look out. You'll likely just delete your entire playlist.

It's a great looking little thing but it's a fuker at the same time!

I'm thinking about getting one myself instead of the Shuffle, mainly for the battery issue.

For me it has been a total shit of a thing. I would go for one of the new irivers color screen etc. Just as small but they WORK.

A very important thing IMHO.

there is no LCD screen or anything it's like a memory stick with a headphone plugin..

I don't see the problem, I'd hardly look to the LCD anyway.

But still I think I'll go with the Mini due battery lifetime.
