    Is Pr 4 Possible?

    With no backlinks and with about 200 - 300 words on one page?

                  There is a mainstream site I did for a friend that shows PR4. As far as I know there are no links to it at all except for 2 posts on a political message board where someone mentioned the url. Kinda weird.

                  When you do the "backward links" option on the google toolbar it doesn't show any backlinks at all.

                      Nevermind, there was a link from a cafepress store back to the site, as well as one other url I have (which is a PR0). I guess that might explain the PR? Don't know why it would be a PR4 though.

                          I had a PR 5 with no backlinks and the domain name only on the main page.

                                          pr updates at a different time than backlinks,so its very possible to have no backlinks and a high pr.
                                          I believe it would also be possible to have 900 backlinks to a page called www.yourserver.com/somepage.html and it pass along some of that pr to the main domain www.yourserver.com that has 0 backlinks

                                                  the google "backlink" function is useless cuz they stopped displaying higher pr sites ever since people began buying links to get pr.

                                                  try to check out the backlinks in yahoo or msn.
