Frankly, I don't read many of his posts.

Lots of business relationships are forged on this board. Sure, people get together and meet face to face eventually, but often times this place is somebody's first exposure to another's "character". Having an "online character" and a "real life" one totally defeats common sense.

In this thread alone two people (myself included) have stated they don't want to do business with Trey BECAUSE of that attitude.

I told him where he needs to go for his billing issues or to cancel. And about us not having enough spanking content? we bought up every spanking pic and vid set that photogregg had, plus many more spanking content is in there. We have made it simple as possible for him to get to the content if he cant find it then the site isnt for him.
I also mentioned to the surfer he can contact me directly and I'll help him out with the members area or whatever other problems he has not related to billing.

Baddog, this is at least the second time in less than 24-hours that I've gotta be in complete agreement with you. THAT scares the shit out of me, but once again YOU have hit the nail right on the head. If a program owner can't keep their mouth shut in order to escape being a total dick, they should stay the hell off of the boards. From some of the things I've seen posted by Trey in the last week, there's certainly no way I can ever promote or recommend Epic in any way. And that's sad, because I think they have some fine PR folks around. But "one bad apple spoils the bunch".

You can get good support from PD, he may assign the task to someone else or put you in direct contact... It didn't take long to see that Pimpdogg's online life was as a "character". None the less, we still have to make a management change here.

And this is the problem.

Let's look at the facts.

What ever Trey says about the success of EC it is not strong enough to resist Acacia. They were forced to sign up because they could not afford to join the fight. What ever he says in contrast to this we know the truth. Unless he was just too stupid to realise the harm it would do by signing up.

Then there is his attitude on the boards. Yes he get's noticed and I would say being controvercial here does get you noticed. I for one know that, like Juicy, Quiet, Aaron and many others. But there has to be something more behind it when you are selling a program because you are selling yourself.

As a content provider once you have bought my content, got the images, license and documents the deal is finished. Who really cares if I'm the kind of guy you want to spend the day with or even trust.

But as a sponsor the connection is far deeper. As an affiliate you want to know you are dealing with a guy you can trust to pay you, look after the surfers you send him and deal with any problems on a day to day basis.

This whole thread started out with a problem that I think was probably due to the browser or computer the surfer was using, I would want that situation dealt with professionally not by the way Trey did.

It's just my opinion but I would say Tray loses more than he gains by his stupid posts. The kind of webmasters who can really make a difference are going to less likely to sign up to his program. Maybe this is the reason he did not have the strength to resist Acacia.

As for your comments about Trey's board persona attracting new webmasters to the program? I can assure you it does. Back in February, way before I worked for Epic, while Trey was at the peak of uber-evil board persona, I was flying an Epic sig. By simply posting in his threads, I generated 20+ active webmaster referrals in less than 3 weeks.

Epic Cash is a solid program and we'll be around for the long run. Webmasters are indeed making money with us. If you don't want to believe that, it's just as much our loss as it is yours.

Trey didn't deal with the situation. If you had read and understiid the very first post in this thread, you'd see that the surfer contacted one of our affiliates. Our affiliate contacted Cory who promptly replied to him. Cory directed the surfer to our processor (Epoch) as this is an error on Epoch's end, not Epic Cash's end.

So you signed up because it was cheaper to watch someone else fight the battle for you? Like those you quoted.

This is the reason I dislike Trey, not because his persona of an idiot on GFY. But because he straight faced lied and at a time when the industry should of been holding together and fighting Acacia he was boasting he signed up. Another reason affiliates should be wary of who they do business with. You know Lightspeed or Homegrown are not going to give your details out to Acacia.
