There were just under 500,000 people that came out for the fireworks last night and around 100,000 today for the parade and there was NO STABBINGS, NO GANG HITS and plenty of single women walking around semi naked without any harrasment.

The stats and my eyes don't lie, Vancouver is amongst the cleanest safest cities in the world. We have a problem with excessive amounts of drug addicts that have made their way to Vancouver because they can live on the streets year round because of the warm climate here... and this problem centred around Hastings Street is improving and they are building more and more treatment and low cost housing places there...and already you can see a huge improvement.

Don't indict a whole city as shit because of one sad side to it. To reduce my city to a stupid sound bite about Hastings is pathetic.
