Why havn't we shut down the mexican border?

Ok seriously, someone give me a good reason why we shouldn't have snipers lined up accross the rio grande.

Even if the country called for an "all volunteer" army to line the mexican border, it'd be completely lined up & shut down after...ohhh i would say a month.

Every hick in texas would volunteer.

oh i didn't realize we need a fresh daily influx of illegal immigrants to take care of lawns.....

We should shut down the borders for Mexico and Canada.

At bare minimum... get more strict about who comes through...

Not only for Eastern Terrorists but for Mexicans (and some Canadians) as well...

Open wide the damned borders and stop trying to run the world. I'm against terrorism but if you look at American imperialism, if you've studied world history and U.S. economics and political science, you can begin to see why people are attacking the U.S. and why the citizens of so many other countries are quietly cheering them on.

Terrorists don't need to come to Mexico in order to get to the US, they've manage to get to the US directly in the past. They've lived there, worked there, trained there, all unnoticed.
