Lots (not all) of the male webmasters/affiliates/business people in this industry are of the age and tendency to be suckered in by silicone and 5" platforms and booty shorts. To the companies who want the business of these guys, it's a no brainer to hire this kind of talent to hawk their wares. Ever been to a car show? If this were a gay webmaster gathering, you could bet there would be waxed, buff, tanned twinks in booty shorts running around the show floor.
It's all about supply and demand, as previously stated, though in a roundabout way.
