On Lankershim Blvd. (between Burbank and Oxnard) is a place called Miss Peaches. It's southern food... Soul Food.

The guy makes the BEST MUTHA FUCKIN' FRIED CHICKEN I've ever tasted. He says he's from Virginia.

I always thought Virginia was higher up on the east coast than the south, but I guess because of all the inbred hicks they call it the south. I dunno. All I know is that boy can cook.

He also makes the hottest jumbolaya (sound it out, assholes) It's so fuckin' hot he won't make it on hot days, because he says "It's too hot to eat on a hot day"

If any of you ever get a chance to eat there, please do. He's a nice guy, and his kitchen is all open. There is no dividing wall so he cooks it right there a few feet away from you. So you know he's not fuckin' with it. I don't trust food that I can't see bing made.
