My first few sites were solo model sites, so as part of our local Member retention activities, we held periodic parties that the Members could attend so that they could meet the models, and sometimes some of the guest models ("friends"), in person.
As a result I have some Members that have been with all of my sites for anywhere from 3-5 years. They have provided locations, clothes and all kinds of other favors in exchange for the opportunity to be a part of the behind the scenes projects that I invite them too. Several have become friends or part of my focus group (and these guys don't blow smoke up anyone's butt - they know what they want and expect as a Member).
Overall, I am pretty discreet about my adult biz, however periodically I'll be talking to someone and the talk turns to porn. It is such a rush when I tell people about my site and then they say they have already seen it. It's really pretty gratifying (although a good percentage are like...pshaw, right...you're the photographer/webmaster for that site - no way!!!).
