"Miracle" review and plug for a friend's blog

Here's my take on movies about sports: if you make the movie unpredictable with a surprise ending and the protagonists lose, no one will like your movie. on the other hand if you follow the [crappy team] > [training montage (with cheesy music)] > [first real game (protagonist fails)] > [inspirational speech] > [sequence of wins against nobody teams] > [moment of doubt before big rematch with previously victorious team] > [final rematch (protagonist wins)] > [yay we have the "best feel good movie of the year"] > [holy crap! i cant believe i just saw this shit!! i think im going to slam my penis into the toilet seat just to have something unpredictable to look at] people will think its great. who the fuck cares if its based on a true story. i took a crap today and that was true. but im not making a movie about it.

Miracle sucked.
