the simpsons is a classic show at this point, it's still funny today. family guy was hilarious enough for me to buy the first season's dvd and i still tivo it, but it seems like recently the jokes have gotten more lude and aren't even funny. i'm all for crude humour, so long as it's still funny! the simpsons seems to still be as funny as when it started.

Definately Family Guy, though my opinion is probably biased because I never really got into the Simpsons.
I just prefer the humor of Family Guy, and you can't help but love how they work in some 80s appearance in every episode, whether it be the Kool-Aid man breaking through the wall out of nowhere, Prince Adam mounting a donkey and becoming He-Man, or a GI:JOE popping out of the bathroom stall....I absolutely LOVE those
