I have been interested in chatterbots for years
they are relating to the Turing Test, and AI
chatterbot programs such as A.L.I.C.E.
made by Dr. Richard Wallace as seen at
www.alicebot.org the bot I made
was by way of Pandora Bots which is
based on the same technology as ALICE
as can be seen as www.pandorabots.com
bear in mind there are different kind of bots
an dthis kind of bot is only to simulate
conversation, it is not in an IRC channel,
it is not for posting at msg boards, it is not
for sending emails, etc.. there are different
kinds of "BOTS"

and the Turing test, named after
deceased 40's and 50's British
Computer Science poineer Alan Turing
and the current manifestation of the
original Turing test is present in something
called The Loebner Prize which relates
to this technology of an aritifical intelligence
computer program which simulates
a conversation from a person
